Malaysians with panache for performing have a new opportunity to showcase their talents with the new reality television “My Starz LG”. Produced by TV3 & NTV7, a division under media prima, and sponsored by LG, the reality show focuses on the complete package of composing and performing.
Hosted by Naz Habibur Rahman “Naz” and Daphne Iking, the selected participants will then undergo a mentoring process where they will be tutored and receive partially professional advice and training support mentors made up of members of Malaysia’s top performers and producers. The training and mentoring will take place at the My Starz LG House which will have a mentor room, a practice area and a performing area fully equipped with LG products and designed in an artcool deco style. The contestants will not stay at the house and will also be used as a rehearsal and training space.
The Head Trainer will be Farihin Abdul Fattah; Musical Director - Aubrey Suwito; Artistic Director - Adlin Aman Ramli; Bassist - Andy Peterson; Guitarist - Jamie Wilson; Percussionist - Steve Thornton; Drummer - Luke Mason. Various guest mentors and trainers will also make an appearance throughout the season offering their advice and judgments.

The contestants will be trained in all aspects of becoming a true performer. According to General Manager, Client Service Group, En. Mohd Azri Abdul from TV3 “My Starz LG is not just a singing competition, it is a search for real performers on stage.
A concert will be performed at the end of each episode and elimination will be a result of the judges decision (60% of the points) with the remainder 40% decided upon by viewers using SMS or a 600 number land line.
